Background

At the age of 3, Orion got his first magic set. Then as a further inducement to his interests in magic, at the age of 4, he went with his family to see the pantomime ‘Dick Whittington and his Cat’. The pantomime featured a magician by the name of ‘The Great Kovari’. Because Orion’s father knew George Kovari in a professional capacity, Orion was allowed to go back stage after the show. He was given a tour by George and allowed to see not only the sets, costumes and scenery, but was shown new magic that George was working on in his dressing room. That evening, the spark of magic burst into flame. He started to diligently practice magic and at the age of 8 Orion performed a 20 minute show with his friend using some of the magic he had received over the preceding years.

Following the success of this performance, he was asked if he would be interested in performing on stage for the school’s talent show. This show was also well received and Orion was asked every year to perform magic for the school talent show.

About the same time Orion started performing at birthday parties, festivals and private functions. Through the following years Orion’s interest in magic has never waned. He is now a professional performing magician.
